Environmental apheresis
Environmental apheresis specifically removes heavy metals, pesticides, chemicals, harmful immune complexes, and inflammation-promoting substances such as cytokines (TNF-alpha, interleukin-6) and C-reactive protein from the blood. Specialised filters act like magnets on the contaminants, bind them, and return the purified blood to the body. The treatment lasts approximately 2–4 hours and is carried out by experienced specialists.
