General terms and conditions (AGB)
I. Scope
The terms and conditions apply to contracts relating to all Buff Medical Resort services that are provided to the guest or the customer. Divergent provisions do not apply unless they are expressly accepted in writing by Buff Medical Resort.
II. Conclusion of contract/minimum age
After prior consultation with management, visitors and accompanying persons can be accommodated for up to 3 nights without booking a therapy program and subject to the availability of a room. Reference is made to the current list of prices and services.
By sending our reservation confirmation, the booking is final. A written cancellation is required to effectively cancel the contract.
Unused services from a therapy program will not be reimbursed. Individual contents of the therapy program cannot be changed.
The minimum age to stay at Buff Medical Resort is 18 years. If accompanied by a parent or guardian, a stay is possible from the age of 16 years after prior consultation with the management.
III. Cancellation/Withdrawal/Early Departure
In the event of cancellation or no-show (“no-show”), Buff Medical Resort charges a cancellation fee as shown below: I: up to 31 days before the date of arrival, 20% of the package price shown in the booking confirmation will be charged
II: 29 to 14 days before arrival = 50% of accommodation costs/treatment program costs
III: 13 to 7 days before arrival = 70% of accommodation costs/treatment program costs
IV: from the 7th day before arrival = 90% of accommodation costs/treatment program costs
V: In case of early departure during your stay or if you are late
Arrival will be charged for the originally booked services. The cancellation fee represents a claim due to failure to make use of the contractually owed service (compensation). If there is no taxable exchange of services, it is not subject to sales tax.
2. If the house rules are not observed, Buff Medical Resort is entitled to end the stay. The costs for services not provided and originally booked will not be reimbursed.
3. Booked individual therapies and offers must be canceled by the guest by 12:00 the previous day, after which they will be charged. This also applies in case of non-use.
4. Unused meals will not be refunded.
IV. Services, prices, payments
The written offer includes the total price for the desired package at the Buff Medical Resort. A deposit of 20% is required to accept the offer. The contract is concluded after a down payment has been made by Buff Medical Resort sending the reservation confirmation.
The remaining amount for the booked services is due for payment no later than 30 days before arrival.
A credit card must be provided as a guarantee upon arrival.
The invoice for additional services and goods booked must be paid before departure.
All services are invoiced in accordance with our currently valid list of prices and services. Previous rates and regulations will be void. We reserve the right to make changes.
Individual contents of our therapy packages cannot be changed or refunded.
The respective therapy package is billed using two invoices. The wellness and sports therapy services are billed by Buff Medical Resort GmbH. Medical services are billed by Palue Suisse Clinic GmbH. Palue Suisse Clinic GmbH assigns the claim to Buff Medical Resort GmbH for the purpose of moving in. The debtor of the claim agrees to the assignment of claims.
V. Arrival/departure
1. The guest receives the room category they have booked. He is not entitled to a specific room.
2. Booked rooms are available to the guest from 15:00 on the day of arrival. If you wish to arrive before 15:00, Buff Medical Resort is entitled to charge an additional day of accommodation.
3. On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 12.00, otherwise this day will be charged additionally.
4. Early Check-in and Late Check-out are available upon request, at a preferrential rate.
5. Guests must present a valid identity card/passport and a valid credit card upon arrival.
VI. Objects brought along and liability
1. Buff Medical Resort cannot accept any liability for items brought in, in particular for jewelry, documents and cash. It is recommended to use the safe in the room.
2. Use of the underground car park and parking spaces is at your own risk.
3. There is a strict smoking and alcohol ban at Buff Medical Resort. This applies throughout the building and on the entire company premises. Smoking is allowed in the designated smoking area. The guest of the respective room is responsible for ensuring that this prohibition is also complied with by third parties. Should the guest violate this, Buff Medical Resort is entitled to charge the guest a special cleaning fee of 350€. The same applies if third parties smoke in the room without the guest's knowledge.
VII. Buff Medical Resort Withdrawal
1. The Buff Medical Resort can unilaterally withdraw from the reservation confirmation/booking for a valid reason. This applies in particular if “force majeure” or other circumstances for which Buff Medical Resort is not responsible make it impossible to fulfill the contract.
2. If Buff Medical Resort is entitled to withdraw from the contract, the customer or guest will not be entitled to any compensation claims.
VIII. Final provisions
1. The place of payment and fulfilment is Constance.
2. The place of jurisdiction is Constance.
3. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
4. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid or void, this shall not affect the effectiveness of the remaining provisions. In all other respects, the legal regulations apply.

House rules
Peace and relaxation are the basic prerequisites for successful therapy. Taking the well-being of other guests into account is an important aspect of this. In order to ensure the greatest possible treatment success for our guests, we ask you to comply with the following rules of conduct:
1. Mobile phone calls are not permitted on the entire company premises and during trips and hikes. Calling with a mobile phone is only allowed in your own room with the windows closed.
2. We would like to point out that there is a strict smoking and alcohol ban at Buff Medical Resort. This ban also includes the use of e-cigarettes. The ban applies throughout the building and on the entire company premises. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area.
3. The smoking and alcohol ban also applies to trips and hikes.
4. Please refrain from wearing bathrobes in the dining room.
5. Please wear appropriate swimwear in the swimming area.
6. Facial concealment (hijab, niqab, burqa) is not allowed at Buff Medical Resort.
7. Bringing animals is not permitted.
8. WiFi is not available from 22:00 to 6:30
9. In consideration of the other guests, we ask you to rest between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
10. Accompanying persons and visitors of the guests must register at reception when they enter the building.
11. We would like to point out that the house rules apply to all Buff Medical Resort guests. Should there be violations of this, the resort management is unfortunately entitled to end your stay. Please understand that we are unable to offer a refund in this case.
12. By booking a stay in our house, you agree to the provisions of these house rules.
